She was predeceased by: her husband Orvil Ferguson; her daughters, Delores Kakakaway and Leisa Ferguson; her mother Rose Kakakaway; her grandfather Alexander Kakakaway; her siblings, Isadore, Eugene, Burl, William Kakakaway, Doreen Littlechief, Lorraine Kakakaway and Oliveen Kakakaway; and her close friend Ray Antoine.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Carlson and John Kaye; her grandchildren, Ben Carlson, Charlene Carlson, Vaughn Carlson, Rosslynn Knudsen, Robin Kakakaway, Ashley Kooyman and Rose Kiesal; her great grandchildren, Kaedyn Botham, Amerie Botham, McKenzie McLaughlin, Ashton Mclaughlin, Jake Carlson, Summer Carlson, Navaiya Britt, Hunter Erixon, Ethan Tide, Annabella Kooyman, Taybias Kooyman, Quinton Kooyman, Jaelee Fleck, Nixon Fleck and Jaxxon Fleck; and her siblings, Corrine Shepherd, Mary McArthur, Simpson Kakakaway and Lester Kakakaway. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the White Bear Education Complex. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
