He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sr. and Gertrude; and his siblings, Richard, Andrew, James (Helen), Eileen, Mary and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Noreeta; his children, Donald (Sandy) of Regina and Paula (Barry) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Blake (Ally) of Regina, Paige (Fraser) of Regina, Nicholas, Riley (Edmonton), Jessica Hencke (Toronto) and Mattias Hencke (Edmonton); and his brothers, Tom, Gerard (Anita) and Pat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
