He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tempel and Alma Tempel; his sister Caroline Halischuk; his siblings-in-law, Barb Tempel and Herb Baber; and his father-in-law William Poole.

He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Debbie Le Dressay (Gilbert) and Barry Tempel; his granddaughter Gillian Le Dressay; his siblings, Irene Baber, Francis Tempel, Bob and Lorne Tempel; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Halischuk and Randy Poole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as friends.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private burial.
