He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Helene; his brother Paul; his brother-in-law Larry Riffel; and his father-in-law Howard Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Shelley; his children, Mark (Kirsten) and Michelle Pool (Tyler); his sisters, Evelyne Riffel and Denise Code (Bill); his mothers-in-law, Gwen, Donna Braithwaite (Ron) and Terry Jackson (Janet); and his grandchildren, Mireille, Colton, Nolan, Aubrey, Joseph, Leo and Xavier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
