He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris. He is survived by: his wife Baerbel; his children, Frank (Reine) and Marina (Detlev); his grandchildren, Dietrich (Alisa) and Tavia (Patrick); and also Austria. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
