He was predeceased by: his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Betty; and his parents, Robert Stark and Cecile Stark. He is survived by: his brother Rodney (Donna) of Port Moody. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Coach Stark also made a significant contribution to LIT as a volunteer and organizer.
