He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Langedahl and Lila Langedahl; his brother Arthur Langedahl; his niece Holly Vandale; his brother-in-law Marshall Walkom; and his close friend Jennifer Nymann.

He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Howard; his grandchildren, Karissa of Edmonton, AB., Paige of Edmonton, AB., Kaycie of Edmonton, AB., Joshua of Edmonton, AB. and Lexie of Edmonton, AB.; his siblings, Hal Langedahl (Norma) of Warman, SK, Joan Walkom of Grand Prairie, AB and Sherri Carrol of Weyburn, SK; his sister-in-law Patti Langedahl of Weyburn, SK; and his friend Linda Nymann of Regina, SK.
