Robert Peter Sternig Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 19, 2026, Robert Peter Sternig of Regina, Saskatchewan, born in Kamloops, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Robert's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Robert's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabe Sternig and Stella Sternig; and his siblings, Gary Sternig and Joan Clarke. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sternig; his children, Mike Sternig (Michelle) and Carol Sternig-Smith (Curtis); his grandson Dylan Smith; and his siblings, Diane Smith (Richard) and John Sternig (Lorel).

In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Peter to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic as for the last year he has battled cancer courageously.
