He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fowler and Eunice LaRose; his siblings, Ivy Jestin, Norman Fowler, Leroy Fowler and Tom LaRose; his siblings-in-law, Joan LaRose, Donna Toews, Wilbert Jestin and Reg Jones; and his nieces, Colleen Hooker and Glenda Lacelle.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughters, Susan Real (Jeff), Carol Schwindt (Dale), Shelley Reddekopp (Kevin) and Shirley Faye (Jason); his grandchildren, Robyn Real, Matthew Reddekopp, Lucas, Jordi and Eli Faye; his brothers, Albert LaRose (Louise), Gordon LaRose (Linda), Eddie LaRose (Kathy) and Frank LaRose; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Fowler and Louise Fowler.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic.
