He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Eliason and Genevieve Eliason; his parents-in-law, Bill and Kay Friesen; and his brothers-in-law, Royden Taylor and Don Friesen.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughters, Janell Fontaine (Marlin) and Colleen Wilkinson (Brandon); his grandchildren, Raina, Nathan, Shea and Kaleia; his sisters, Arlys Peters (Ted), Mardell Wolfrom (Dave) and Donnie Aasen (Wayne); and his siblings-in-law, David Friesen (Eleanor), Wayne Friesen (Barb) and Debbie Friesen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no reception.
