She was predeceased by: her former husband Emanuel Peters; her daughter Brenda Peters; her husband Pete Barabash; her siblings, Marcus Dukart (Evelyn), Tony, Adam, John Dukart, Joe Dukart (Jean) and Minnie Holzer (Mike); her sister-in-law Anne Dukart; her parents, George Dukart and Florence Yoachim; and her stepmother Margaret Schnell.

She is survived by: her sons, Laverne Peters (Dell), James Peters (Janet) and Darren Barabash; and her brother Frank Dukart. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
