With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy James (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Sombra, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert James and Ethel James; his siblings, Stanley, Ben, Don, Elwood, Lillian, Gladys, Muriel and Joyce; his sister-in-law Sandra Nelson; and his in-laws, Allen and Agnes Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Nelson; his children, Victor James, Laurie Symonds (Scott) and Michelle James; his grandchildren, Max Grohs and Madison Symonds; and his sister-in-law Dorothy James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
