He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaw and Violet Shaw; his wife Joyce; and his sons, Randy and Gary.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amy (Neil), Becky (Brad), Jeremy, Zachary (Jasmine), Josh (Lindsay), Simon (Erin) and Joey; his daughters-in-law, Janice and Brenda; and his close friend Dennis Matheson.
