She is survived by: her children, María Adela Alarcón (Pedro), Carmen Castañeda and Elizabeth Castro (William); her niece Norma Montes Mejía; her grandchildren, María Melgar (Kyle Unique), José Antonio Melgar, David Eduardo Melgar, Eric Alarcón, Susana Alarcón, Rose Castañeda, Brian Castañeda and Christopher Castro; her great grandchildren, Nikita Unique, Aden Unique, Arianna Unique, Ella Rose Castañeda and Elvis Castañeda; and her in-laws, Pedro Alarcón, William Castro and Alva Melgar.
