He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Merk and Wilhemenia Merk. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sophie, Anabelle, Jacob and Aria; his children, Claudette, Michelle and Michael; and his sisters, Joyce Kattler, Alfreda Moser, Sandra Deis (Rick), Charlotte Railton (Dave), Betty Ann MacGregor and Susie Mohr (Dale). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
