She was predeceased by: her husband Garth Sanders (Ray McCrimmon); her parents, Marguerite Steen and Elgin Steen; and her brother Graeme Steen. She is survived by: her children, Jill Clarke (Russ), Allyson McDonald (Dean), Heather Morhart (Mike), Brad Sanders (Lauren) and Dori Sanders (Tammy Ens); her grandchildren, Mitchell Clarke, Kyle Clarke (Alisha Triff), Lauren Clarke (Calder Dollard), Sydney, Liam McDonald, Claire, Seth and Kane Morhart; her sister Sandra Bruneau (Bill); her sister-in-law Roxanne Inch; her sibling's children, Rochelle Douris (Bill) and Jon Bruneau (Maria); and her cousin Joan Sandomirsky.
