It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Benko (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Punnichy, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 10, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Luthi and Fritz Luthi. She is survived by: her spouse Gabriel Albert Benko; her children, Brian Benko (Kathy), Wanda Szeles (George), Susie Boake (Clayton), Loretta Melanson (George) and Blaine Benko; her grandchildren, Mandy Halldorson, Travis Halldorson (Sara), Chad Benko (Claire), Jaime Marcotte (Jeremy), Meghan McLaughlin (Chris), Robert Melanson (Megan), Michael Szeles, Jennifer Szeles, Alex Letzing and Donny Boake; and her brothers, Jim (Julia), Bill (Debbie), Ken (Connie) and Arnold Luthi (Donna). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
