He was predeceased by: his friend Ajit Singh Madhur; and his wife Tarlok Kaur Matharu. He is survived by: his family, Sohan, Tarlok, London and England; his close friend Mohinder Singh Bhogal; and his sons, Tony (Narinder) and Ajit.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (4001 Victoria Ave, Regina, SK S4T1M8).
In recognition of his contributions to Saskatchewan, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
