He is survived by: his children, James Thiessen and Alayna Bridges-Shiplack; his close friend Rebecca Anthony; his parents, Gordon Shiplack and Sheryl Shiplack; his brother Jason Shiplack (Jennifer); his sibling's children, Kayson Shiplack, Lexton Shiplack and Hutton Johnson; Jacklyn and Kate. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Speers Family Centre (2333 Cornwall St, Regina, SK S4P2L4).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steven's name to the All Nations Hope Network.
