He was predeceased by: his father Adolph; his daughter Kaleena; and his pet Rambo. He is survived by: his daughters, Katelyn and Sarah; his grandson Jaxx Thomas Russell; his pet Boh; his mother Dorothy; and his siblings, Vern (Maylyn), Dave, Dennis (Arlene), Jim (Leanne), Carolyn (Bernard), Jan (Leonard), Lorna (Andy) and Jackie (Rob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends so wishing may make donation in memory of Tom Bast to Bright Eyes Dog Rescue or the Regina Humane Society.
