He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia; his son Philip; his siblings, Kiwa, Eva, Leah, Dora and Jacob; his nieces, Sarah Offman and Donna Pinchuk; and his parents, Rebecca Berger and Philip Berger (Oungre).
He is survived by: his daughter Karen; his grandsons, Jacob (Tara) and Mitchell; and his nieces and nephews, Susan, Barry, Margo, Phil, Irene, David, Lynn, Anna, Larry, Freida, Arthur, Philip Gary, Naomi and Greg. He is also survived by horses and obsolete horse.
