She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John Baptiste Kaiswatum "JB", Nympha Kaiswatum (Nee Dieter), James "Jim" Desjarlais and Lottie "Nee" Fox; her parents, George Desjarlais and Louise Desjarlais; her siblings, Daisy Desjarlais, Ruby Gopher, Cecilia Kaiswatum, Ray, Mervin, Ken, Vern, Clayton Kaiswatum and Lawrence Desjarlais; her siblings-in-law, Gloria Kaiswatum, Ida Friday, Marjorie Kaiswatum Stephanie Quewezance, Corrine Langan and Brian Cappo; her son-in-law Fabian Hapa; her sons, Jeremy Kaiswatum and Curtis Jr.; her grandson Robert Whitehawk Jr. (Poppins Gopher); her nephew Brendan Kaiswatum; and her niece Nikita Kaiswatum.
She is survived by: her significant other Curtis Langan; her children, Melissa Blackbird (Aaron), Marlon Kaiswatum (Faith), Lena Whitehawk (Robert), Donovan Maier (Nakota) and Chris Maier; her grandchildren, Neveah, Kian, Heaven, Sophia, Savannah, Baby Jeremy, Lucious, Lacious, Costos, Vince, Alleigha and Harmony; her nieces, Panda and Reese Kaiswatum; her nephew Sluggo (Baby); her siblings, Joan Kaiswatum, Calvin (Jody), Harold (Elrine), Steve, Joe Kaiswatum and David Quewezance; and her sister-in-law Velma Langan.
