He is survived by: his wife Sandra Read; his children, Lori Read (John), Monty Read, Trina Read (Dennis), Jolie Engelbrecht and Zubazz Read; and his grandchildren, Brian Telford, Katherine Thomason (Matt), Alex Loree, Asyah Loree (Ben), Ebony Engelbrecht, Matthaus Engelbrecht, Eden Engelbrecht, Zane Engelbrecht, Andrew Wiatzka and Evan Wiatzka.

A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Any memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
