He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Wasylyna; his parents-in-law, Jack, Pauline Horovenko and Bea; his brother Peter; his siblings-in-law, Walter Horodyski, Ken Rissling, Steve Horpynka and Margaret Horodyski; his daughter Cathy (Nigel); and his grandchild Larisa (Jim).

He is survived by: his wife Anna Kaminski (Zaleschuk); his children, Michael (Deanna), Wally Jr. (Linda), Joanne (Dave) and Paul (Brenda); his grandchildren, Tricia (Dave), Tracie (Scott), Jason (Megan), Scott (Kate), Toni (Derrick), Jaimee (Dan), Nikki and Eric; his stepgranddaughters, Michelle and Nicole (Ralph); his stepchildren, Tim (Debbie), Evan, Laura (Chris) and Tanya (Jason); his sister Annie Horpynka; and his sisters-in-law, Vernie Kaminski and Jean Rissling. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Allan Blair Cancer Centre or a charity of choice.
