He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hertzog and Margaret Hertzog; his siblings, Harold Hertzog and Florence Rederburg; his siblings-in-law, Jean Hertzog and Howard Rederburg; and his nieces, Debbra Mitchell and Wendy Hertzog.
He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Duncan; his brother Roy Hertzog; his sister-in-law Alice Hertzog; his sibling's children, Denis, Steven (Pam), David (Leanne), Doug (Deann), Robb (Caron), Brenda Issel (Curtis), Theresa (James) and Michele Skwara (Gregg); and also Blair. He is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
