It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley James McLachlan of Regina, Saskatchewan, born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McLachlan and Lillian Jeffrey; his aunt Evelyn Yake; and his cousin Ronny DuPont. He is survived by: his wife Rita Olson; his sons, Michael (Melissa) of Swift Current and Trevor (Jessica) of Edmonton, AB; his grandchildren, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Jaliesa (Tavi) and Pierce; his siblings, Wayne (Linda) of Calgary, AB, Grant (Dianne) of Swift Current and Beverley Maxwell (James) of Swift Current; his cousins, Marlene Andrew of Swift Current, Collette Dupuis of Calgary, AB and Bonnie DuPont of Calgary, AB; Aaron Olson of Burnaby, BC. He is also survived by his 7 nieces and nephews.
