He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his parents, Horace Bray and Kate Bray; his sister Irene Stirton; his brothers-in-law, Jim Stirton and Phil Dodds; and his nephew Brian Stirton.

He is survived by: his children, Pat McNaughton (Danny), Ron Bray (Carol), Gail Kuntz (Jack), Karen Thompson (Roger) and Allan Bray (Tammy); his grandchildren, Stacy (Darren), Shelley (Kalvin), Kirk (Jodi), Jodi (Jeff), Lori (Chris), Kurtus (Karen), Clint (Melissa), Erin (Kevin), Kelsey (Randy), Tyler (Ashley), Josh (Manda), Chris (Ashley) and Brittany (Philipp); and his siblings, Norman Bray (Agnes) and Shirley Dodds.
