He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yano and Mary Yano; his brother Ken; his brother-in-law Steve Antal; and his parents-in-law, Aimee and Bill Webster.

He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Darryl (Dixie), Leanne (Dan) and David (Christina); his great grandchildren, Addison, Alexa and Holland; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ashton, Dylan, Hailey, Emily, Eli and Ember.
