He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha; his parents, John Labash and Matilda Halko; his stepfather Steve Halko; and his son-in-law Myrol Keleman.
He is survived by: his children, Leona Bencze (John), Darlene Keleman, Valerie Fazakas (Louis), Lorne Labash (Jane), Randy Labash (Donna) and Regina. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
