He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Engel and Viola Engel; and his brothers, Dennis, Brian and Roy.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Shirley), Bruce (Lorna) and Greg; his sister-in-law Sonia Engel; his nieces, Kim (Ryan) and Karri (Rob); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn, Mackenzie, Sarah and Berkley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local fire department or the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan in his honour.
