She is survived by: her husband Richard Oakes; her children, Garry Oakes (Kathy), Heather, Holly Oakes, Stuart Oakes (Jennifer) and Dawna Youngstrom (Erick); her granddaughters, Tamara, Sarah Oakes and Jennifer Vanderstoop (Sam); her children, Sam, Finley, Delaney Oakes, Jack, Kaitlyn and Spencer Youngstrom; and her sister Dorothy Platzer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
