He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy (Siggelkow); his grandson Stuart Lanoie; his parents, William Swanson and Catherine Swanson; his siblings, Willie (Sadie) and Barbara (Ben Osburne); and his siblings-in-law, Gerald (Eunice), Lorraine and Lynne Siggelkow.

He is survived by: his children, Valda Dean (Jim) of Lisieux, Glenda Bemister (Ken) of North Vancouver and Darrell (Marilou Travland) of Rockglen; his grandchildren, Erin Moore (Luke), Ian Bemister (Klara) and Chris Bemister (Nina); and his great grandchildren, Shelby, Mandy Fuhrmann, Taylor, Reese Moore, Kayden, Brooke, Justin, Dominik, Adam Bemister, Mason and Olivia Bemister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn's memory may be made to the Grasslands Health Centre for entertainment and music.
