He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Knoss and Hattie Knoss (Leder); his wife Millicent Anderson; his siblings, Sylvia Solverson (Sankey), Herschel Knoss (Elsie), Jerry Knoss (Violet), George Knoss and Verna Jackson (Roland); his siblings-in-law, Ron Ettles and Dorothy Knoss; and his sister Bernice.

He is survived by : his children, Delores Fauser (Don), Doyle Knoss (Wanda) and Calvin Knoss (Sandra); his siblings, Violet Ettles and Stanley Knoss; his sister-in-law Rhoda Knoss; and his grandchildren, Daralyn Sheffield (Cory), Drew Fauser (Carla), Nathan Knoss (Lana), Stacey Sorenson (Tom), Jonathan Knoss, Brett Knoss and Hayley Knoss (Josh Dann). He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
