With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murray Elder Straker (Saltcoats, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Barbara (Ford); his children, Garnett (Charlaine), Glenda, Alison and Devra (James Henderson); his grandchildren, Luke, Christian, Lillianna, Samantha, Kayla and Kelsey; his parents, Cecil Straker and Ena Straker (Keith); his sister Nita; his former life partner Helen Gibson; and his siblings, Gail, Lyle, Joan, Merle and Jimmy.

In lieu of flowers, a donation box is set up and donations to the DRIFD in memory of Murray are much appreciated.
