He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Resch and Katherine Resch (Selinger); his siblings, Jerry, Johny, John, Phil Resch and Doreen Fraser; his siblings-in-law, Adam Schiissler and Judy Resch (Jerry); and his wife Marion Resch.

He is survived by: his son Michael Resch (Tamara); his grandsons, Brayden and Brett Resch; his daughter Karen Thevenot (Guy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Michael and Tyler Thevenot; his sister Carol Schiissler; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian Resch (John) and Rosanna Resch (Phil).
