He was predeceased by: his parents, Grigorios Liakopoulos and Ioanna Liakopoulos; his brother George; and his parents-in-law, George and Afroditi Antonopoulos.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory, Joanne (Christopher) and George (Christina); his grandchildren, Elektra, Alexandra, Zoe, Anastasia, Hariklea, Alexandros, Bernadina and Hariklia; his wife Shirley Antonopoulos (Hariklia); his sister Ekaterina; and his siblings-in-law, Tony and Brenda Antonopoulos. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Those wishing to make a gesture of remembrance are invited to contribute to the Royal University Hospital Foundation, in honour of Alex's life and legacy.
