He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Gunsch and Ruth Gunsch. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Tim Morse (Shannon), Candace Wankel (Calvin), Holly Vollmer (Jeff) and Dan Gunsch (Alana); his grandchildren, Elliott, Gillian, Tianna, Alex and Max; his great grandchild Rhett; and his siblings, Erna Stillet, Arnold Grohn (Linda) and Harvey Gunsch (Rhonda).
