She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boychuk and Anne Boychuk; her husband Arthur Gessell; and her siblings, David and Ruth Atkinson (Sandy).
She is survived by: her sister Esther Gillatt (Herb); her brothers-in-law, John Gessell (Rose) and Allan Gessell (Heather); her children, Sharon Oxman (Terry), Esther Papish (Roy), Clayton Gessell (Cyndy), David Gessell and Naomi Lefebvre (Cory Piecharka); her grandson David Oxman (Kristine); her children, Susan Oxman, Jennifer Smith (Travis), Christopher Papish, Daniel Lefebvre (Taija), Breyanna Ridenour, Tanner Ridenour (Jessica), Meagan Harbidge (Matt) and Lisa Davidson (Drew); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Kaylie and Emily Oxman; and her grandchildren, Sofia Smith, Owen, Erik Davidson and Casey Harbidge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
