Anne Rose Engel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Rose Engel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, born in Prelate, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Getz and Martha Getz (Wickenheiser); her husband Roy J. Engel; and her siblings, Baby Anna Getz, Baby Racheal Getz, Helen Loos, Margaret Johnson, Mary Fiset, Barbara Powell, Bertha Hopfauf, Peter, John and Valentine Getz.

She is survived by: her children, Ramona Garman (Wayne) of Glendale, AZ, Norbert Engel (Lorraine) of Clavet, SK, Valentine Engel (Ann Chorneynko) of Allan, SK, Roy Engel (Barbara) of Saskatoon, SK and David Engel (Carol) of Saskatoon, SK.; her granddaughter Cora Leigh Alguire (Stephen); her children, Nicolette Garman, Madeleine Engel (Michael Watt), Alexandra Engel (Drew Friesen), Genvieve Engel, Yvonne Engel, Joel Engel, Jayden Engel, Kaitlyn Engel and Jacob Engel; her great grandchildren, Savannah and Nathan Alguire; her grandchildren, Braiden Garman, Althea and Charlotte Garman-Yap; and her brothers, Louis Getz of Lloydminster, SK, Daniel Getz of Lancer, SK and Roy.
