He was predeceased by: his daughter Bonnie Ditto; his parents, Peter Friesen and Martha Friesen; and his brother Les Friesen. He is survived by: his wife Loretta (Twordik); his daughter Cheryl Bacon (Steve); his son-in-law Rick Ditto; his siblings, Wilf Friesen (Elsie), Don Friesen, Sheldon Friesen (Pat), Lavina Zerebeski (Ron), Elvera Terlesky (Ken) and Delores Volk (Ed); his siblings-in-law, Sal Twordik (Shirley), George Twordik (Cathy) and Myra Twordik; and his grandchildren, Darren Bacon (Shelby), Allan Bacon, Randi Tunbridge (Mark) and Eric Ditto (Dana). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anne's Parish (217 Lenore Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7K6Y2).
