He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline; his parents, Karol Kroll and Tekla Kroll of Hafford; and his brothers, Louis (Margaret) of Surrey, BC, Michael (Ruby) of Toronto, Edward (Mary) of Saskatoon, Joseph of Hafford and Tony of Calgary.

He is survived by: his son Martin.
