He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Mary and William Elmer Callbeck; his siblings, Connie Crane, Ann Embryk, Claire Milne (Barry), Ferne Bannerman (Dave) and Kathryn Callbeck; his brother-in-law Sandy Jarvie; and his son-in-law John Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Jarvie; his children, Sandi Callbeck-Janzen (Devin), Lorna Callbeck Cross (John) of Saskatoon and Kevin Callbeck (Kenda) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Cassie Josephson (Kyler) and Madison Josephson; his siblings, Velma Morin (Charlie) and Richard Callbeck (Dawn); and his sister-in-law Rosemary Jarvie.
