She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Ryan Stilborn and Darren Grindheim; her grandchildren-in-law, Sandra MacKinnon and Kyle Reay; and her parents, Albert Carson and Susan Carson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Bates; her daughters, Shirley Grindheim (Daryl), Donna Bohrson (Martin), Patricia Stilborn (Lionel) and Linda Libke (Wayne); her grandchildren, Dean Grindheim (Bonnie), Amber Burks (Trevor), April Libke (Evan), Aaron Bohrson (Sherri), Jay Bohrson (Beverly), Scott Bohrson (Rebecca), Lee Stilborn (CoraLee), Tyler Libke (Erin) and Amanda Jullion (Dustin); and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Bates and Clifford Bates. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (210 Wess Rd, Saskatoon, SK S7V0S4).
