As we bid Bernice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bernice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Barker and Evelyn Barker (Stacey); and her former husband Stephen Shih. She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Morrish and Elizabeth Shih of Saskatoon; and her siblings, Rev. Harvie Barker (Liz) of Penticton, B. C., Regina and Victoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.
