With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beryl Kay Wignes (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander McCallum and Marian McCallum; her son-in-law Rob Nykiforuk; her husband Norman; her sister Tanya Bower; and her granddaughter Amanda Vignes.
She is survived by : her children, Brent Wignes (Wendy), Heather Nykiforuk, Holly Brotzel and Martin Vignes (Sandy); her grandchildren, Jennelle Haaland (Travis), Kirsten Brown (Kurt), Matthew Nykiforuk (Denise), Michaen Lukey (Colden), Chesney Wright (Brad), Kyle Brotzel, Johnathan Kolisnek (Priscilla), Joshua Kolisnek and Serina Vignes (Ryan Schweitzer); her great grandchildren, Seth, Evan, Mason, Paige, Mallory Sirois (Colin), Jeret Wignes (Leah), Kamryn, Ryan, Riggins, Dune, Harleigh, Ariana, Ayden, Ethan and Hunter; her sister Sharon Brown; her brother-in-law Lindsay Bower; and also, Carter and Cooper. She is also survived by her husband and his family; her children; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings; nieces; nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 14th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2L7). Due to COVID rules service will be held for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Beryl's memory.
