She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Dye and Gladys Dye; her husband Cliff; her children, Nancy, Lynne and Mike; her grandchildren, Duncan, Alix, Hilary, Lindsay, James, Garett, Michelle, Justine, Antony and Marcia; and her niece Michelle Swoboda (Vesna Dusevic).

To preserve their dignity, she would create a project for them to do, so they didn't have to feel that they were accepting charity.
