It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Sherdahl (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Melville, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 29, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent István; her husband Bill Sherdahl (Bill); her son Jordan William; and her sister Margaret Rose Pogany. She is survived by: her siblings, Jolane Kozsan (Steve) and Butch Szabo (Edna); her daughter Julia Adamson (Douglas) of Saskatoon, SK; her granddaughter Laura; her daughter Beverly Sherdahl of Brandon, MB; her granddaughter Crystal Devlin (Tyler) of Nanaimo, BC; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Haleigh and Shawn; her grandson Dylan Allenby; her great grandchildren, Amythyst, Harley and Hazel; her grandson Dallas Sherdahl; her daughter Sylvia Konkin (Robert) of Brandon, MB; her grandsons, Nathaniel Konkin (Marie-Eve) and Joshua Konkin; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Sherdahl (Evelyn), Audrey Sherdahl and Diane Sherdahl. She is also survived by her friends, extended family.
It was during this era of the polio pandemic that she contracted the Poliovirus.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Camp Easter Seal, Oliver Lodge, Luther Heights LutherCare Community, SaskAbilities or the Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc. in Betty's memory, continuing her legacy of creating life-changing experiences for others.
