He is survived by: his sons, Chris Hemsley (Ashleigh) and Andrew Hemsley (Rebekah Lopez); his grandchildren, Josephine (Chris) and Axel (Chris); and his siblings, Patte Winter (Hugh), Bruce Hemsley (Alice Jack), Stuart Hemsley (Margaret), Darryl Hemsley (Roni), Elaine Koshman (Mike) and Barb Carr (Ian). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
