He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norbert Mamer and Elaine Mamer; his wife Jean Sarauer; his daughter Chelsea Hartmann (Tyler); his grandchildren, Maks, Mason and Trey of Furdale, SK; his son Shayne Mamer (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Beau and Kacey; his siblings, Marlene Pfeiffer (David), Dean Mamer (Cynthia) and Keith Mamer (Sharla); his siblings-in-law, Keith (Linda), Dale Sarauer (Denise), Sandi Kupczyk (Bill) and Deb Sarauer; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Rita Sarauer; his sisters, Deb Jestin and Mary Lou Mamer; his brother-in-law Jack Jestin; his godson Jerrod Brinkman; and his nephews, Wayne and Joshua Sarauer. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Intensive Care Unit at Royal University Hospital through the RUH Foundation, in gratitude for the outstanding care provided during Brian's time of need.
