He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Holland; his parents, Wilfred Holland and Bertha Holland; and his brothers, Kenneth Holland and Lorne Holland.

He is survived by: his fiancée Helen Lachapelle; and his siblings, Barry Holland (Joanne), Sharon Baliski (David) and Marlene Prebushewski (Brian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2L7).

“We are so sorry to lose Cal. We were great friends from the time we were 15 years old. He was our roadie in our band "Starburn" In 1976 We moved to Gabriola Island from Saskatchewan. Cal drove one our vehicles out to the coast and stayed on Gabriola for many years working with me in home building. He helped me build my own home in 1978. . He was always willing to help and was the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. We will miss this special person. Bill and Cynthia Chelsom”
